1. Data we collect

Only what you send us: contact and review-form messages (name, email, and what you write), and newsletter subscriptions (email, plus first and last name if you give them). We have no user accounts, no logins and no dashboards, so there is no profile to build.

2. How we use it

Form messages are used to reply and to verify review submissions. Newsletter emails receive new-review notifications only — no spam, no selling lists, no sharing with advertisers. Unsubscribe any time with the link in any email.

We use a minimal set of cookies and storage: a theme preference (light/dark) saved on your own device, and whatever our hosting platform needs for security and load balancing. We don't run cross-site advertising trackers. Clearing your browser storage resets the theme toggle — that's the whole effect.

4. Data retention

Published reviews stay published with the author's name, as agreed on submission. Form correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

Ask us for a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at info@starharborratings.com and we'll act promptly, subject to our need to keep published corrections history accurate.
